We set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console in order to keep an eye on things such as seo, etc. One thing we see in Pagespeed is a knock about the google tag (gtag) causing load issues. Searching for other info on this, I see it's a problem many have complained about. There are various work arounds and tips. Some say ignore it, some say do this or that. To me, I feel that Google should optimize the gtag stuff so that it doesn't cause issues with page speed. Rather than us having to try to find work arounds or just ignore it. It also has an issue with Google fonts. Well, it's Google stuff. It should work better for these issues.

As Google search improves with AI and enhanced technology, content producers will need to up their game if they've been writing for the bots, so to speak. You know what I mean. We've all seen a headline that is enticing, only to find the "article" is stuffed with SEO ranking words.

The days of keyword stuffing are over. Google has improved their core and generates search results based more on useful content rather than keyword focused. In fact, those keyword stuffers will find themselves on the spam end of things now. So, this means better content for users, and with that, hopefully more users for your sites. This new system is more complex, and soon will include more AI generated results as well. What should you do to prepare? Here are a few tips, and we'll add more as we go:

Write good articles with more helpful information for your members. If you have a niche about knitting, for example, perhaps write an article about a specific yarn and cite experts on why that yarn is best for knitting hats, etc.

On the above tip, niches can definitely be of help for SEO as the focus on topic authority (provide great coverage about the areas and topics they know well ~ Source: Google Search Central), seems to be heating up with Google search. Find a niche you know about and roll. Write good, relevant articles that are helpful, show knowledge and expertise, and are trustworthy.

Create NEW content. Don't regurgitate other content. It's fine to cite relevant sources of an article, but you should ensure that your content is fresh and not appearing elsewhere if you want the best results. Google's new SGE (Search Generative Experience) is smart and shows new articles rather than articles that are compilations of information that appears elsewhere.

Make sure your title of your article/post, etc provides a descriptive, helpful summary of the content. Just don't make it too long.

I strongly suggest you check Google Search Central for tips. They sorta know how Google Search works lol.
